Generally, precision machining and manufacturing processes such as twisting, rolling, boring, or honing are used for the inner hole of the cylinder barrel, requiring a certain surface roughness to ensure smooth sliding of the bracket, piston, and seal, reduce wear, and ensure sealing effectiveness; The cylinder barrel should withstand significant hydraulic pressure and have sufficient stiffness and strength. The end caps are installed at both ends of the oil cylinder, bearing a large amount of hydraulic pressure and forming a closed oil chamber with the oil cylinder. The end caps and their connectors should have sufficient strength. The guide sleeve plays a guiding and supporting role on the piston rod or plunger. Some hydraulic cylinders do not have guide sleeves, but the end caps must be replaced after wear. It is directly guided by the end cover hole. This structure is very simple.
2. Piston components
Connection method: In addition to welding, integral structure, tapered pin structure, etc., the connection method between the piston and the piston rod is also commonly used with half ring and threaded connections. Half ring connection is generally used in places with high vibration, high strength, complex structure, inconvenient loading and unloading, threaded connection, simple structure, and convenient loading and unloading. Usually, a nut locking device is required.
Sealing: The piston device plays a good sealing role and is mainly used to prevent hydraulic oil leakage, ensuring the normal operation and power transmission of the hydraulic cylinder. Seals can be divided into two categories: static seals and dynamic seals. There are various sealing methods for cylinder pistons. The piston component is oil resistant, corrosion-resistant, easy to manufacture, easy to disassemble, and can automatically improve sealing performance with increasing pressure.
