In the industrial field, accurate calculation of Industrial Hydraulic Cylinder load is crucial for system design and safe operation of equipment. Hydraulic cylinder load is mainly composed of working load, friction load and inertial load.
Working load is the external force that the hydraulic cylinder needs to overcome, such as the weight or resistance of the object when pushing the object. When calculating, it is necessary to clarify the mass of the object and the component force in the direction of movement. If the object moves horizontally, the working load is the force generated by overcoming friction, etc.; if it is lifted vertically, it is the weight of the object.
Friction load comes from the friction between the seal inside the hydraulic cylinder and the piston rod, as well as the friction of external guide rails and other components. It can be estimated by consulting the friction coefficient of the seal and combining parameters such as piston rod diameter and pressure.
Inertial load occurs at the moment of starting or braking of the Industrial Hydraulic Cylinder, and is related to the mass and acceleration of the moving parts. The larger the mass and the faster the acceleration changes, the larger the inertial load, which can be calculated with the help of Newton's second law.
Adding these three parts of the load can get the total load of the hydraulic cylinder. According to the total load, the hydraulic cylinder specifications, pressure levels, etc. can be reasonably selected to ensure stable and efficient operation of the system.
