In the hydraulic system, hydraulic cylinders are used to drive a mechanism with a certain mass. When the hydraulic cylinder moves to the end of its stroke, it has a large amount of kinetic energy. Without deceleration treatment, the hydraulic cylinder piston and cylinder head will collide mechanically, producing impact, noise, and destructive effects. To mitigate and prevent such hazards, a deceleration device can be installed in the hydraulic circuit or a buffer device can be installed in the cylinder body.
